'Enduring a Horrific Ordeal': Families of Missing Teenagers Desperately Seek Answers After Alpine Blaze

The relatives of young people missing after a deadly fire at a venue in a Swiss winter destination are facing an painful period of uncertainty for answers and pleading for any details about their family members publicly.

The fire ripped through the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the mountains of south-west Switzerland, in the early hours of New Year's Day. Verified images reveal the ceiling being engulfed in flames as beverages with fireworks are raised in celebration.

Emergency services have stated that it could take an extended period to formally name the fatalities of the tragedy, which claimed the lives of four dozen individuals and hurt another 119. Officials said on Friday that 113 of the those hurt have been accounted for, with work continuing to name the remaining few.

In the meantime, relatives have been taking to the internet to appeal for any news about their loved ones who were in attendance that night.

Heartbreaking Pleas for the Unaccounted For
