Trump's Granddaughter Gets Expert Tips from Tiger Woods Ahead of LPGA First Appearance

Emerging athlete getting ready for significant tournament

The rising star maintains impressive social media following

The young golfer will have plenty of well-known cheerleaders as she makes her LPGA debut on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of a former US president, received a special exemption to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, owns numerous courses worldwide and often competes against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we play some close matches," she revealed.

She mentioned that Trump, unable to come, advised her: "Just stay calm."

"He practically suggested to compete and enjoy myself," she explained.

"From my perspective, he's simply an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, making him quite busy."

Being non-professional, Kai has played in just three tournaments in 2024 and holds ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

But she can seek guidance from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He represents the greatest golfer worldwide," the young golfer said.

"Additionally, he's an even better individual. He told me to play, relax, adapting to whatever happens."

She'll challenge several top competitors in women's golf at this tournament, such as world number two the champion, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

The LPGA mentioned that Kai's presence helps introduce golf to new audiences, particularly among younger fans.

The social media influencer boasts substantial online presence and has started a personal apparel and wellness brand.

The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
